With a background in prosecuting cases within the public sector and serving as both a prosecutor and defense attorney in criminal cases, he is well-versed in courtroom proceedings. Additionally, Hallvard has a wealth of expertise as a legal counsel in civil matters. His specialized knowledge in economic crime positions him to consistently provide assistance to businesses and individuals impacted by such unlawful activities.

Jan Santiago 

Jan is a PhD scientist by training, and he has been blogging and writing about pig butchering scams since it first hit the West in late 2020.  He helped found a non-profit advocating for victims of pig butchering scams and was its deputy director and chief writer. He has since developed an interest in blockchain technologies and joined Chainbrium to be a senior  consultant, as well as another non-profit called PICDO.

A talented writer and thinker, he maintains a Substack blog about his thoughts on crypto tech, regulations and pig butchering scams. An op ed he wrote for The Diplomat about the pig butchering scam crisis was translated and re-published in mainland Chinese state newspaper Cankao Xiaoxi.
